Songworks was proud to be among 28 regional choirs taking part in this year’s Sing for Water, which took place in London on 15 September 2019. With glorious blue skies, a spectacular Thames-side location and the voices of hundreds of singers raised in beautiful harmony, it was a truly joyful occasion.
Sing for Water brings choirs together for a mass performance to raise funds for Water Aid, an amazing charity that helps communities around the world access clean water. Songworks singers raised over £4000 for this life-changing work.
“Being part of such a huge group of singers was incredible – what an experience!” says one Songworks participant. “And knowing that it’s for such a good cause definitely adds to the feelgood factor.”
