Songworks and their friends and families came together on Zoom for the Winter Concert on 16 December – and what a warm and joyful occasion it was. Through songs, readings and videos, we shared the story of Songworks’ journey through 2020 and celebrated the power of connection and community that has been so important during these tough times.
One highlight was a special guest appearance by Jon Snow, who put a new spin on the Christmas classic ‘The First Noel ‘ to raise funds for the Islington Centre for Refugees and Migrants.
We hope it delights you as much as it did us, and that it will inspire you to give whatever you can to this brilliant organisation, which offers a lifeline to migrants and refugees who have been displaced from their countries due to persecution, war, and poverty.
